6/27/2023 0 Comments Sound reference drv100 microphone![]() My favorite overall mic is the Shure Beta 57A and not suprisingly, it is the most expensive mic I own, available new for $139. Maybe someone with experience with it could give their 2 cents in the replies.įor the record, I do own four SM58s and a few other wired handheld mics and a GDI 4-mic (2 handheld and 2 lav) wireless kit. I've never even held one, let alone field tested the DRV200, so as far as I know, it COULD be just as durable. The other is, the SM58 is known for being a tank of a mic that can take serious abuse without failing and it is very possible if not probable that the DRV200 is not as durable. So far, I've never had anyone request a specific microphone, so I don't see the advantage there so much.
